Sorry for being quiet. I just have very little to say.
I'm just breathless. Tisha B'Av of 5765 brought the withdrawal from Gaza; now 17th of Tammuz brings war upon Israel. And from my standpoint; from the Israeli Rabbinut stating they will not recognize conversions by American rabbis, from my trip to Israel and seeing beautiful Tzfat and knowing it is now under rocket fire, from doubts and questions of my personal character. On one hand I am comforted because you can't ignore the emes of HaKadosh Baruch Hu. On the other hand I want to melt away, because it all seems to be imploding on itself.
But why?
Also my time is mainly being taken up by my new website, Shona's Porch. Still needs a lot of work, but it's up and running.
